A new bronze statue of Harry Potter was unveiled on Wednesday here in Leicester Square… a stones throw form where the premiere of “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” took place in 2001.
Gascoyne Estates are proud to be part of the Heart of London which has helped make this happen… “Harry Potter is hugely important to literature, theatre and, of course, to film,” said Ros Morgan, chief executive at Heart of London Business Alliance. “We know there are fans of Harry Potter of all ages all around the world and we look forward to welcoming them to the West End and Leicester Square, whenever that will be.”
Harry joins Paddington, Mr Bean, Laurel and Hardy, Bugs Bunny, Gene Kelly in Singin’ In The Rain, Mary Poppins and iconic DC superheroes Batman and Wonder Woman – a must visit free tourist hotspot when in London.
